Regional Partner Relations Lead (Fintech): Own and grow key relationships with local payment partners, financial institutions, and regulators across Asia with an accent on turning strategic partnerships into sustainable TPV, margin, and resilience. Focus on building senior, multi-level relationships, leading joint business planning, and driving performance improvements through data and automation.

Location: Hybrid (China / Singapore)

hirify.global enables global brands to collect payments in emerging markets, simplifying payment expansion and increasing conversion rates as both a payments processor and a merchant of record.

What you will do

  • Own and nurture relationships with key Asian partners (processors, wallets, banks) and regulators, acting as hirify.global’s primary point of contact.
  • Build senior, multi-level relationships (C-level, product, operations, risk, regulatory) to ensure hirify.global is a trusted, strategic counterpart.
  • Lead joint business planning with priority partners, covering TPV growth, product roadmap, performance, economics, and go-to-market.
  • Identify and prioritize new workstreams (new countries, payment methods, features, commercial models) to strengthen product and economic performance in Asia.
  • Monitor partner performance and economics using data and dashboards to drive improvement plans.
  • Strengthen resilience and redundancy by ensuring fallback providers and alternative routes for critical flows in Asia.
  • Track regulatory and scheme developments, assess impact, and coordinate action plans with internal teams.
  • Standardize and scale partner interactions by contributing to playbooks, templates, and identifying automation opportunities.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in payments, fintech, banking or card schemes, with a focus on partnerships, business development or strategic account management.
  • Proven track record owning senior relationships with major banks, wallets, processors, PSPs, card schemes, or financial regulators.
  • Hands-on experience leading cross-functional initiatives (commercial, product, operations, compliance).
  • Structured, analytical mindset, confident working with TPV, conversion, cost, and margin data.
  • Automation and process mindset, able to streamline partner management.
  • Excellent communicator in English (C1, mandatory); additional Asian languages are a strong plus.

Nice to have

  • Experience with large global merchants, networks or PSPs.
  • Exposure to BNPL, wallets, RTP, and alternative payment methods strategies in emerging markets.
  • Prior experience interacting with Asian regulators, central banks or industry associations.
