What you will do
- Partner with Account Executives to manage the technical aspects of the sales process from early discovery through close.
- Lead technical discovery conversations to understand customer goals and conduct tailored product demonstrations.
- Articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, including executives, and address security, architecture, and integration questions.
- Design and recommend solutions that meet customer requirements while aligning with product capabilities.
- Support or lead proofs-of-concept (POC) to validate technical fit and demonstrate value.
- Provide technical guidance that accelerates deal velocity and enables sales teams with product knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years in a Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Consultant role.
- Experience supporting SaaS, enterprise software, or complex technical products.
- Proven ability to work on deals involving both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of modern software platforms (cloud, APIs, integrations, security, or data).
- Comfortable presenting, whiteboarding, and leading discussions with diverse audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or enterprise systems.
- Experience with API products.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
