TL;DR

Director, Enterprise Sales (AI): Leading and empowering a team of Enterprise Account Executives to drive growth and expand relationships with strategic customers with an accent on strategic account expansion and consistent goal achievement. Focus on building talent pipelines, creating regional growth plans, and coaching the team on methodology-based selling to achieve predictable, high-growth business results.

Location: This role is based in Germany (Hesse preferred), and candidates in other locations within Germany will be considered. Willingness to travel to customer sites, regional, and international industry and company events is required.

What you will do

  • Lead and empower a team of up to eight Enterprise Account Executives to achieve and exceed their goals.
  • Leverage your business network to build a strong talent pipeline and hire top candidates.
  • Create a clear regional growth and investment plan with a focus on measurable impact.
  • Build and sponsor trusted relationships with customers and partners to drive long-term success.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and create a predictable, high-growth business.
  • Coach your team on strong vision setting and methodology-based selling, aligned with customer goals.

Requirements

  • A proven people leader with 5+ years of experience leading high-performing Enterprise sales teams selling into strategic/Enterprise accounts in Germany.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams in high-growth Data, AI, Cloud, or SaaS/Tech companies, consistently exceeding ambitious sales goals.
  • Understanding of how to balance usage-based, commit-based, and service-based revenue models.
  • Track record of building strong partner ecosystems and acting as an executive sponsor.
  • Strong focus on methodology-based sales coaching (e.g., MEDDPICC) and a disciplined approach to sales execution.
  • Fluency in German and English is required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites, regional, and international industry and company events is required.
