TL;DR

Regional Sales Manager (Cybersecurity): Driving new business opportunities and expanding revenue for cybersecurity products in the Northeast US region with an accent on executive-level client engagement and strategic account development. Focus on scoping and negotiating agreements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging partner relationships to defeat adversaries.

Location: Remote (US Northeast), specifically in the states of NY, NJ, PA, MA, CT, VT, NH, ME. This is a field sales role requiring remote work with up to 50% travel on short notice.

Salary: $105,000 - $163,000 per year

What you will do

  • Identify, develop, and execute account strategy to close new business and expand revenue across the assigned region.
  • Scope, negotiate, and close agreements to exceed booking and revenue quota targets.
  • Target and gain access to decision-makers in key prospect accounts.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with senior executives (CIO, CSO) in the industry, partners, and mid-market customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Field Sales, Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering) to drive visibility and engagement.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to capture, maintain, and disseminate prospect information.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud, and SaaS technologies and competitive offerings.
  • Significant proven experience developing relationships with senior executives.
  • Ability to explain complicated concepts to diverse audiences and skill levels.
  • Outstanding presentation, written, verbal, and closing skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Nice to have

  • 10+ years of solution selling experience, particularly selling software security and/or infrastructure security products to State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) accounts.
  • A Bachelor’s (BA/BS) or Master’s Degree.
