What you will do

• Manage and support PostgreSQL database infrastructure across the organization.
• Ensure stability and performance within a complex, integrated database environment.
• Develop automation scripts using Python to streamline DBA tasks.
• Maintain and optimize database environments hosted on Linux.
• Collaborate across business functions to ensure database integrity and availability.

Requirements

• Strong PostgreSQL DBA experience required
• Proven experience with Linux systems administration
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
• Must be based in London or able to work onsite

Nice to have

• Experience with Clickhouse, FoundationDB, MS SQL, Redis, or MongoDB
• Automation and IaC experience using Chef, Terraform, or Ansible
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and observability tools like Prometheus or Grafana
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS or GCP) and virtualization (VMware)
