Salary: £27,000–£29,000 + up to 20% discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Act as the first point of contact for customers to resolve technical issues and escalate to engineering teams when required.
• Triage incidents to determine the validity of information and identify root causes.
• Provide 2nd line support to resolve complex service desk issues.
• Utilize Jira to track all user interactions and issue resolutions.
• Identify and redirect urgent problems to the appropriate resources.
• Work within a fast-paced agile development team.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Web/PC environments.
• Experience with issue management systems (Jira) and version management tools (Bitbucket).
• Proficiency in SQL, including Select, Insert, Update, Delete statements and system procedures.
• Ability to construct ad hoc queries to fix data issues.
• Must be located in Cardiff

Nice to have

• Practical knowledge of PLSQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Oracle Forms & Reports Builder.
• Knowledge of AWS-hosted Spring applications.
• Previous experience working with Docker.
