Account Executive (Public Sector/DoD): Driving net new business and delivering mission outcomes within the public sector, specifically DoD, by understanding client requirements and developing strategic sales opportunities. Focus on executing complex enterprise sales strategies for technical solutions in data warehousing, business intelligence, data science, and AI/ML.
Location: Remote within the United States
Salary: $140,000 - $183,750

What you will do
- Become an expert on ’s product, conducting discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospective customers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their mission needs to drive solutions.
- Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
- Land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities with accounts in your region.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas by developing and executing a regional sales plan.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance.
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of field sales experience with consistent success meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
- Experience selling within the DoD space.
- Demonstrable experience executing enterprise complex sales strategies and tactics in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and/or AI/ML.
- Familiarity with a solution-based approach to selling, managing complex sales processes, and possessing excellent presentation and listening skills.
- Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.
- Experience hitting multi-million dollar revenue targets on an annual basis.
