Manager, Solutions Engineering (AI Customer Service): Leading and scaling a high-performing Solutions Engineering team for an AI-driven support platform with an accent on defining go-to-market strategies, solution architecture, and achieving revenue targets. Location: Hybrid in Chicago, Illinois. Employees are expected to be in the office at least three days per week. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
Salary: $202,500 – $251,550 (OTE for Greater Chicago Area)

What you will do
- Define and evolve the strategic vision and go-to-market (GTM) approach for the Solutions Engineering function.
- Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing Solutions Engineering team across global regions and core verticals.
- Actively engage in strategic complex deals, providing technical guidance, architecture, and demo support.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor and executive point of contact for large customers.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and R&D to shape verticalized GTM motions and solution strategy.
- Lead discovery, design, and delivery of tailored technical solutions, including PoCs and business value assessments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of pre-sales experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer/Architect, or similar individual contributor role.
- 2+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales teams, with a proven track record of hiring, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams.
- Experience selling AI, data, or highly technical products, or deep curiosity and utilization of AI.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, focused, and able to thrive under pressure while solving challenging customer issues.
- Track record of consistently delivering revenue numbers and producing accurate forecasts.
- Able to travel internationally on average once a month.
