TL;DR

Growth Development Representative (eCommerce): Turning context-rich signals into high-intent conversations with growth leaders at top eCommerce brands with an accent on designing playbooks and iterating on messaging. Focus on leveraging modern outbound tools and collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales to refine strategy.

Location: This role is intentionally in-office/hybrid in either Los Angeles or San Francisco.

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 USD

What you will do

  • Work a signals-based outbound queue, enriching leads with real context before outreach.
  • Leverage tools like Clay and Smartlead for lead enrichment and outreach (dialer, email, etc.).
  • Run highly personalized outreach to growth leaders (Heads of Growth, VPs of Growth, CMOs).
  • Book qualified meetings for the sales team and partnership leads, ensuring clear handoffs and feedback loops.
  • Collaborate daily with Marketing and Sales to refine ICP, triggers, offers, and messaging.
  • Participate in live coaching, call reviews, and script iteration within the GDR pod.

Requirements

  • Experience in SDR, BDR, Growth, or outbound sales roles is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, economics, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for building and scaling outbound motions.
  • Strong research and writing skills for crafting personalized, high-impact outreach.
  • Comfort and effectiveness across phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach channels.
  • Familiarity with (or strong interest in learning) modern outbound tools such as Clay, AI enrichment platforms, and dialers.
