TL;DR

Director, Commercial Lab - West (Medtech/Diagnostics): Leading a team of Commercial Lab Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales objectives within assigned commercial lab accounts with an accent on protecting and growing existing business and acquiring new customers. Focus on creating and implementing customer-specific sales strategies, driving CRM utilization, and fostering a high-performing sales culture.

Location: Remote within the Western US territory. Candidate must live within this territory. Ability to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States or Canada is required.

Salary: $153,313 - $191,641 annually, with eligibility for an annual incentive program.

What you will do

  • Lead and coach a team of Commercial Lab Account Executives to protect and grow business within the commercial laboratory segment.
  • Develop and implement customer-specific sales strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Drive CRM utilization and analyze performance metrics for the team.
  • Negotiate and manage contract renewals and new customer agreements.
  • Develop and sustain key customer relationships and collaborate with senior leadership on sales strategy.
  • Manage day-to-day team activities, budget, and travel and expense reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or healthcare related field.
  • 10+ years in healthcare in a commercial sales, national accounts, or business development capacity.
  • 5+ years of successful commercial team leadership.
  • Deep familiarity with the commercial laboratory landscape and executive-level leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory financials and test reimbursement models.
  • Strategic and complex selling skills.
  • 70% travel required.
