What you will do

• Relationship manage a portfolio of Invoice Finance SME customers, understanding their needs and identifying support opportunities.
• Manage, retain, and grow the existing Invoice Finance customer portfolio, ensuring best-in-class service.
• Oversee upsizing and renewals of customer facilities, ongoing monitoring, financial and covenant reporting.
• Originate SME lending opportunities for both existing and new customers, from initial enquiry through to completion, including writing credit papers.
• Work closely and collaboratively with sales, credit, and payment operations teams to ensure a seamless and professional service.

Requirements

• Highly capable Relationship Manager and Business Developer with a long-term track record of building trust-based relationships.
• Strong understanding of SME lending, including a background in Invoice Finance.
• Ability to analyze and review financial accounts and associated information.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with evidence of strong career progression.
• Ability to work expertly with customers and colleagues to structure new lending proposals and write credit applications.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and building/improving processes in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
