Central Business Development Manager (Fintech): Supporting the execution of the Bank’s Asset Finance KBI strategy and delivering professional relationship management to KBIs, with an accent on maximising value to Allica, KBIs, and customers. Focus on providing first-line support to KBIs as an asset finance product expert, handling inbound and outbound calls, and building a portfolio of UK-based Asset Finance KBIs.

Location: Hybrid with offices in Milton Keynes, London, and Manchester. Must be based in the UK.

What you will do

  • Provide first-line support to KBIs and the Bank’s Operations Team as an Asset Finance product and market expert.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to develop new business and resolve issues.
  • Build and relationship manage a portfolio of UK-based Asset Finance KBIs alongside external BDMs.
  • Support and submit lending applications in line with Allica’s Credit Policy.
  • Own and ensure excellent customer service for KBIs, prospective, and existing customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven successful career progression in business development within a Relationship Management role in Asset Finance.
  • Proven ability to source and develop Key Business Introducers (KBIs).
  • Sound knowledge of broader commercial banking products associated with SME businesses.
  • Proven banking relationship management skills in judgmental SME and/or Commercial lending.
  • Proven track record in providing excellent customer service and generating significant new income opportunities.
  • Ability to structure Asset Finance proposals and write credit applications.
  • Ability to analyse and review financial accounts and associated information.
