TL;DR

Strategic Accounts, Business Developer (Fintech): Developing and owning strategic account plans and deal progression strategies for key enterprise prospects with an accent on in-depth market and account analysis, and leveraging AI-driven systems. Focus on nurturing and deepening relationships with large merchants and influencing cross-functional teams to shape tailored solutions.

Location: Hybrid in London, UK (three days per week in the office)

What you will do

  • Develop and own strategic account plans and deal progression strategies for a portfolio of key prospects.
  • Serve as an internal methodology expert and trusted advisor on strategic accounts, industry trends, and critical business challenges.
  • Conduct in-depth market and account analysis to generate actionable insights and accelerate sales cycles.
  • Proactively leverage AI-driven systems (e.g., Salesforce, 6Sense) and advanced analytics for lead generation and strategic planning.
  • Nurture, develop, and deepen relationships with existing and prospective merchants.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to ensure aligned efforts when dealing with and onboarding key merchants.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Enterprise Sales Development, Strategic Account Management, or Consultative B2B Sales, preferably in payments, fintech, banking, or financial services.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain deep, multi-threaded relationships with multiple stakeholders up to C-suite level.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data/CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Eager to understand and navigate long sales cycles.
  • Fluent in English.
