What you will do

• Own the technical direction of your team's domain and make architectural decisions for AI-native delivery.
• Design the team's operating rhythm, review processes, and quality gates for fast, AI-driven implementation.
• Build your team's engineering capability by designing code reviews and pairing sessions that interrogate architectural reasoning.
• Combat the 'Silent Silo' by building team rituals that keep learning visible and foster psychological safety.
• Stay in the code by directing AI agents, reviewing AI output, and making hands-on architectural decisions selectively.
• Partner with engineering leadership to redefine product delivery in an AI-native world and contribute to shared tooling.

Requirements

• You've led engineering teams that shipped production software and made architectural decisions under real constraints.
• You think in systems, designing team structures and delivery cadences, not just technical architectures.
• You've managed the tension between speed and quality by building guardrails.
• You work with AI agents, review output, and have a genuine AI-driven development workflow (non-negotiable).
• You've started this journey and are ready to take AI-augmented development further with a team.
• You've built and maintained production-grade systems, including distributed systems, data-intensive applications, or cloud infrastructure.
• You possess full-stack fluency, with experience across backend and frontend (GCP, TypeScript, React, Python, Pulumi stack).
