What you will do

• Build scalable data pipelines for sourcing, transforming, and publishing data assets for AI use cases.
• Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, application engineers, and AI researchers to develop next-generation data platform products.
• Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code.
• Manage a small team of 4-5 senior data engineers, including talent management and engineering operational excellence.
• Navigate roadblocks to deliver work quickly and iteratively in a fast-paced, design-driven product development cycle.
• Embody company culture and values of respect, integrity, and accountability.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or near Mountain View, United States with onsite work expectation
• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years or Master’s degree with 4+ years in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years technical experience building data processing applications using Python, Java, Spark, SQL.
• Experience with Apache Hadoop ecosystem, Kafka, NoSQL, and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• 3+ years experience in data governance, compliance, or security.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
