What you will do

  • Proactively build and manage relationships with clients and their key personnel to become a trusted partner.
  • Manage the governance framework with clients and run key forums like Steering Committees and Business Reviews.
  • Identify and develop opportunities with existing clients.
  • Ensure KPIs and targets are being met.
  • Manage the business side for development, enhancements, or change requests with clients, supporting internal teams.
  • Create and maintain forecast models and ensure invoicing is current with clients.
  • Work within the business development team to renegotiate contracts as required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Account Management experience within the financial services sector, with a preference for direct cards, payments, or issuer processing experience.
  • Native written and verbal communication and presentation skills in Japanese required.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to build rapport internally and externally.
  • Growth mindset and ability to adapt in a fluid, fast-paced business environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Business-level written English ability required, business-level or above written and verbal ability preferred.
