What you will do
- Proactively build and manage relationships with clients and their key personnel to become a trusted partner.
- Manage the governance framework with clients and run key forums like Steering Committees and Business Reviews.
- Identify and develop opportunities with existing clients.
- Ensure KPIs and targets are being met.
- Manage the business side for development, enhancements, or change requests with clients, supporting internal teams.
- Create and maintain forecast models and ensure invoicing is current with clients.
- Work within the business development team to renegotiate contracts as required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Account Management experience within the financial services sector, with a preference for direct cards, payments, or issuer processing experience.
- Native written and verbal communication and presentation skills in Japanese required.
- Strong networking skills and ability to build rapport internally and externally.
- Growth mindset and ability to adapt in a fluid, fast-paced business environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Business-level written English ability required, business-level or above written and verbal ability preferred.
