TL;DR

Account Executive, Business Growth Sales: Helping to build pipeline, generate revenue, and expand strategic customers by educating contacts about how hirify.global's tools increase collaboration, transparency, and productivity. Focus on defining and iterating sales motions, driving executive-level relationships, and closing business at or above quota levels.

Location: Hybrid in Tokyo, Japan (office attendance required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays).

What you will do

  • Prospect and develop new potential accounts by educating contacts on hirify.global's benefits.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for usage expansion.
  • Iterate on the contract renewal process to retain and grow customers and mitigate churn.
  • Hold face-to-face and Zoom meetings with prospective customers to understand their challenges and goals.
  • Drive executive level relationships and run product demos to close business at or above quota.
  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal teams (sales, customer success, solution engineer, deal-desk, ops, legal).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience including full cycle sales at a fast-growing IT company.
  • A proven track record of hitting or exceeding quotas in current and previous roles.
  • Strong communication and engaging presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate within ambiguity and find creative, out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Possess grit and tenacity to achieve goals and contribute to the mission.
  • Curiosity and willingness to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.

  • Experience as an early sales hire at a fast-growing startup.
  • Strong technical chops.
  • Direct sales plus experience of selling through Partners.
  • Experience of quarterly sales planning.
  • New logo acquisition sales experience.
