What you will do

• Provide engagement research support to client and search teams.
• Research the investment banking market and develop target lists.
• Identify potential candidates using online, proprietary tools, and personal networks.
• Capture and maintain accurate market, client, and candidate information in company systems.
• Oversee the preparation and updating of market mappings and people moves data.
• Assist with business development support, including deck preparation and design.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree from a well-regarded institution.
• Genuine interest in learning about people, business, and industry characteristics.
• High emotional intelligence (EQ) and strong conceptual/analytical skills.
• Ability to work on multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and adhere to deadlines.
• Advanced Excel expertise, including PivotTables, data analysis, and workflow automation.
• Outstanding communication, written, and presentation skills.
• Must be based in New York City, United States.
• Ability to work in a hybrid format in the New York office.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products and databases (Bloomberg, Factiva, Lexis-Nexis).
