Implementation Manager (SaaS)

Location: US-based; remote work with onsite client visits typically 3–4 times per month.

What you will do

• Own the full implementation lifecycle from kickoff through configuration, data migration, training, launch readiness, and go-live.
• Manage multiple concurrent implementations, project plans, milestones, checklists, risks, and mitigation actions.
• Lead structured client communication with owners, executives, operations leads, and frontline store teams.
• Troubleshoot configuration, workflow, integration, data migration, and launch-readiness issues, escalating with clear context when needed.
• Coordinate with Support, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Account Management to deliver successful launches.
• Improve implementation playbooks, SOPs, quality standards, and scalable remote delivery models.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SaaS implementation, onboarding, professional services, or a similar client-facing delivery role.
• Direct ownership of end-to-end implementations and a proven record of delivering them on time.
• Strong project and time management skills in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Confident communication with senior stakeholders, including VP-level leaders, owners, and C-suite executives.
• Experience with troubleshooting, technical escalations, or hands-on operational problem-solving.
• Ability to travel 3–4 times per month for onsite work.

Nice to have

• Experience in cannabis technology, retail operations, or dispensary management.
• Background in fintech, payments, healthcare/EMR onboarding, ERP, compliance, tax, or audit software implementations.
• Experience with retail POS, eCommerce, inventory management, or multi-location and multi-state SaaS platforms.
