TL;DR

SMB Account Executive (Cybersecurity): Driving new business and reactivating lapsed accounts for small to mid-sized organizations with an accent on building pipelines and exceeding monthly targets. Focus on outbound prospecting, articulating value propositions around security awareness, and managing territories strategically.

Location: Clearwater, FL or Washington, DC - Hybrid | 3 days onsite

Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 OTE (50/50 split)

What you will do

  • Drive new business and re-engage dormant accounts across your assigned territory.
  • Build and manage a strong, consistent sales pipeline.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting (calls, email, networking, demos).
  • Articulate a clear and compelling value proposition around security awareness and human risk management.
  • Forecast accurately and manage your territory strategically.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce).

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of software sales experience (SMB experience preferred).
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota.
  • Confidence with outbound prospecting and cold calling.
  • Familiarity with IT security concepts is advantageous.
  • Experience using Salesforce and Google Workspace.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Security+ or Network+ certifications are a bonus, but not essential.
