What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of Applied Field Engineers specializing in Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics.
• Drive consumption activation and optimize technical sales cycles to ensure successful workload deployment and credit realization.
• Resolve architectural gaps and ensure solutions meet reliability and performance criteria for long-term growth.
• Act as a critical feedback loop to Product Engineering, identifying and advocating for features to unlock blocked workloads.
• Partner with Product Management to influence the AI/ML roadmap based on market trends and customer requirements.
• Cultivate a culture of technical sales excellence, bridging initial technical proof with long-term production value.

Requirements

• 15+ years of industry experience in pre-sales, technical sales, or technical consulting.
• 4+ years of people management experience, preferably leading specialized technical overlay teams.
• Proven track record in consumption-based models, driving activation and usage of software services.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex customer challenges into actionable product requirements.
• Executive-level expertise in at least two of Generative AI/LLMs, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or Cloud Data Architecture.
• Proven ability to advise C-level executives on technical architectures and AI/ML investment ROI.
• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
