TL;DR

IT Project Manager: Leading Zero Trust enterprise integration efforts for the US Air Force with an accent on translating business requirements into actionable tasks and managing IT projects within deadlines. Focus on fostering client relationships, negotiating Service Level Agreements, and utilizing PMI project management methodologies.

Location: On-site in Hampton, VA

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Translate business requirements into actionable tasks, ensuring proposed solutions meet customer needs.
  • Manage multiple IT projects concurrently within a deadline-driven environment.
  • Foster strong client relationships and negotiate Service Level Agreements.
  • Provide leadership on IT hardware and software projects throughout all phases of the system development life cycle.

Requirements

  • Clearance Required: TS/SCI
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT project management roles.
  • Understanding of data center environments and equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel.
  • Experience in delivering presentations and briefings related to project progress to clients and management.

Nice to have

  • Active PMP Certification
  • Experience working with the DoD Intelligence Community
  • Experience with DoD NIPR, SIPR and JWICS Networks
  • Background in technical writing, capable of producing project plans, functional requirements, and detailed schedules.
  • Experience with Zero Trust Fundamentals

Hiring process
