Senior Communication Project Manager

Location: Full-time onsite in Vienna, Virginia and Washington, DC; must reside in and perform work in the United States. Regular weekly reporting to federal offices is required, with onsite presence potentially up to five days per week. Periodic domestic travel and up to one international event per year are required.

Salary: $98,187.00–$166,919.00 annually.

What you will do

• Lead concurrent communication campaigns and event projects, including planning, scheduling, coordination, facilitation, and delivery support.
• Manage project scope, priorities, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, deliverables, action items, and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate government stakeholders, customer points of contact, project teams, subcontractors, event facilities, and FinCEN contributors.
• Lead requirements discussions, planning sessions, feedback reviews, issue-resolution meetings, contract reporting, and operational touchpoints.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and end-user requirements, translating them into functional and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution recommendations.
• Develop communication materials, event plans, quality assurance activities, operational dashboards, reports, metrics, and analytics while troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of management experience.
• 5+ years of experience with communication campaigns and event coordination projects.
• 5+ years of experience supporting federal clients on projects.
• 3+ years of experience leading multiple teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or business.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or SharePoint.
• US citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain Secret clearance is required.
• Ability to report regularly to federal offices in Vienna, Virginia and Washington, DC.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, move, or transport objects weighing up to 30 pounds and move throughout the worksite for up to 4–6 hours during an 8-hour workday.

• 3+ years of experience managing distributed teams supporting geographically dispersed customers.
• Experience with program standards, leadership, and coordination.

• Experience gathering requirements from end users and stakeholders, demonstrating solutions, collecting feedback, and validating functionality.

• Experience supporting federal government communication campaigns and events involving industry stakeholders.
