Global Operations Manager

TL;DR

Global Operations Manager: Developing and implementing market access and growth plans for Starlink operations with an accent on KPI tracking, resource management, and process enhancements. Focus on leading cross-functional strategic initiatives and ensuring operational health in live markets.

Location: This is not a remote position and would require being onsite in either Bastrop, TX or Redmond, WA. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

What you will do

• Develop comprehensive execution plans for initial market access and rapid growth of operations.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational health in live markets.
• Guide planning and resource management for specific Starlink verticals, including business model development.
• Identify and execute business improvement initiatives with Starlink's leadership.
• Lead implementation of process and system enhancements to improve execution and customer experience.
• Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams and external resources to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, business, economics, or finance.
• 4+ years of experience in business operations, project management, or strategic planning.
• 1+ year experience based abroad or working with operations outside of the United States.
• 1+ year of experience with analytical skills (e.g., Microsoft Office applications, Excel modeling).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends.
• Must be onsite in either Bastrop, TX or Redmond, WA.
• Must conform to U.S. Government export regulations (U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee).

• Demonstrated success working in an environment with competing priorities and aggressive schedules.
• Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives.
• Ability to define and manage a project independently.
• Experience with SQL and creating/managing dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Experience using various programming languages (e.g., Python, Javascript, R, SQL, HTML, XML, CSS, Ruby).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior business leaders.
