TL;DR

Security Customer Solution Architect (Cybersecurity): Empowering federal clients by creating integrated, comprehensive security solutions with an accent on clarifying complex challenges, shaping business cases, and defining security operations best practices. Focus on leading efforts for cyber security solutions across multiple areas and ensuring measurable impact from proof-of-value programs.

Location: Hybrid in Ottawa, ON, Canada. You must be able to work on-site at our office in downtown Ottawa, or at the offices of federal clients and OEM partners in the region. Occasional travel may be required, including to the USA.

Salary: $115,000–$155,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Work with client-facing account teams to identify problems, map outcomes to strategies, and orchestrate virtual teams to build business cases and adoption plans.
  • Lead efforts to provide comprehensive cyber security solutions across multiple areas, collaborating with experts in data & AI, infrastructure, networking, and cloud computing.
  • Facilitate client conversations at all organizational levels to enhance their understanding of cyber security and align them to specific security initiatives.
  • Guide clients in defining security operations best practices and efficiencies, and deliver presentations highlighting both technical and business value.
  • Align with key partners, including Microsoft and Cisco, to deliver workshops and secure customer incentives and POV funding.
  • Own and manage end-to-end processes for proof-of-value programs, including scope definition, setup, deployment, and executive presentation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of demonstrated success in delivering cyber security solutions and technologies, including a proven track record in selling multi-vendor integrated solutions and professional services.
  • 7+ years of experience working directly with the Canadian federal government.
  • Deep knowledge of cyber security solution architecture, design, and implementation across multiple domains (networking, infrastructure, end-user compute, cloud).
  • Ability to translate executive-level objectives (compliance, security operations, risk) into a well-structured security platform roadmap and adoption plan.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing communication of complex technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must hold or be eligible for a Secret Level II Canadian federal security clearance.

Nice to have

  • Intimate knowledge of and hands-on experience with vendor solutions from Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Fortinet, Sophos, Zscaler, Wiz, CyberArk, RSA, F5, and Proofpoint.
  • Solid knowledge of emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in the cyber security domain, as well as the design of cyber-attacks, detection engineering, and incident response.
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or OSCP.
  • Bilingualism (English/French).
