Salary: $136,000 - $265,700 per year

What you will do

• Lead regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform with embedded security controls.
• Implement and monitor endpoint security solutions, including Cortex XDR and SentinelOne.
• Apply zero trust principles through strict network segmentation, authentication, and authorization.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• 7+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
• 5+ years of experience in security engineering and network security protocols.
• Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Relevant GCP certifications, such as Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
