What you will do

• Define, document, and champion secure SDLC processes and practices.
• Establish a strong security culture within platform engineering teams.
• Lead threat modeling and conduct secure code and architecture design reviews.
• Automate application security testing and controls in CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy, operate, and tune security tools like SAST, DAST, IAST, CSPM (CodeQL, Wiz.io).
• Manage vulnerability prioritization, remediation, SCA for supply chain security, and penetration testing.

Requirements

• Canada (remote); visa sponsorship not available.
• 6+ years overall experience, 2+ years in Application Security.
• Deep hands-on experience in Secure by Design, secure architecture, and system design.
• Extensive experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to code in Go or Python; experience with containerization (Docker), Terraform, Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with CI/CD (Jenkins, CircleCI); build and integrate appsec tools.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent; strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork.
