What you will do
- Prepare company overviews and develop target lists for business development meetings.
- Identify potential candidates using online and proprietary tools.
- Call companies to determine organizational structure.
- Manage and update confidential candidate records in the proprietary CRM.
- Support business development strategy and market intelligence projects.
- Develop a full understanding of internal client search and research needs.
Requirements
- Must have an undergraduate degree from a well-regarded institution.
- Genuinely interested in learning about people, business, and industry characteristics/needs.
- Ability to quickly learn industry fundamentals and understand criteria for success.
- High Emotional Maturity Quotient (EQ) and sufficient conceptual/analytical skills.
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and manage time effectively.
- Outstanding communication skills, especially telephone skills, and professional presence.
- Understanding and appreciation for the strict confidentiality of client and candidate information.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products and databases (Bloomberg, Factiva, Lexis-Nexis).
