TL;DR
Business Development Executive (HPE): Driving revenue growth and expanding strategic partner relationships for an assigned technology category or vendor portfolio with an accent on developing and executing growth strategies, identifying new revenue opportunities, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on cultivating executive-level relationships, negotiating complex deals, and managing market analysis for competitive positioning.
Location: Field-based in the US. Ability to travel is required for in-person vendor and partner engagements.
Compensation: USD $58,000–$98,600 per year (base pay, plus 60/40 split compensation plan).

What you will do
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans for an assigned technology category or vendor portfolio.
- Expand new business opportunities across existing partner relationships.
- Cultivate executive-level relationships with key vendors, strategic partners, and decision-makers.
- Lead consultative sales efforts and present strategic proposals to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Conduct market analysis to identify competitive positioning and manage financial forecasting and profitability.
- Partner with sales, marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to align on growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of strategic sales, business development, or account management experience, preferably in technology or distribution.
- Demonstrated success driving year-over-year profitability growth.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience closing complex, solution-based deals.
- Experience managing profit and loss concepts, forecasting, and margin profiles.
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Willingness to travel for in-person vendor and partner engagements is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
