TL;DR

Senior Federal DOD Account Executive (SaaS): Driving revenue growth and managing executive relationships within the Department of Defense portfolio with an accent on navigating complex federal enterprise selling and multi-year SaaS agreements. Focus on shaping long-term customer strategy and accelerating adoption across priority defense missions.

Location: Remote (USA). Applicants located within 45 miles of the Westlake/Dallas, TX office are expected to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday.

Salary: $256,000 - $320,000 USD

What you will do

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals with Federal/DoD customers.
  • Establish and nurture trust-based relationships with senior-level civilian and military leaders within the DoD.
  • Align customer strategy with mission objectives and capability/skills requirements of Mission Partners.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecast, and penetrate new accounts.
  • Partner with Business Development, Marketing, and Customer Success to execute multi-year account strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years of related experience (or 8+ years with an advanced degree).
  • Consistent track record of selling SaaS solutions to the Federal Government DOD and exceeding quota.
  • Expertise in Solution-Selling, Strategic Selling, the Challenger sale, or Value Selling.
  • Experience managing and closing multi-year SaaS federal DOD contracts.
  • Working knowledge of DCWF/8140 compliance requirements.
  • Strong strategic negotiation and communication skills for navigating large complex organizations.
