TL;DR

AI Solutions Engineer (AI): Helping customers implement and scale AI/ML workflows and GenAI/agentic applications on Weights & Biases with an accent on designing and delivering technical enablement and adoption programs. Focus on building reusable technical assets and operating scaled motions using product signals and feedback loops.

Location: Primarily hybrid in US cities (Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; Bellevue, WA; Philadelphia, PA). Remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office based on specialized skill sets, but new hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month, and teams gather quarterly for collaboration. Must be a U.S. person due to export control compliance.

Salary: $139,000–$204,000

What you will do

• Run 1-to-many onboarding and enablement programs for customers.
• Build reusable technical assets like playbooks, reference architectures, and sample code.
• Operate scaled motions using product usage signals and customer patterns to trigger interventions.
• Track program impact on activation, time-to-first-value, and feature adoption.
• Provide insights to Support, Product, and Field Engineering for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/Keras, PyTorch Lightning) and tools (Streamlit, LangChain).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Organized and outcomes-driven, capable of running programs and measuring impact.
• Must be a U.S. person due to export control compliance (U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Nice to have

• Experience with GenAI and LLMs.
• Proficiency with HuggingFace, Fastai, scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, or Ray.
• Experience with hyperparameter optimization solutions.
• Background in data engineering, MLOps, or LLMOps, with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with data pipeline tools.
