What you will do

• Drive technical initiatives and oversee pre-sales activities (presentations, demonstrations, sizing) for key enterprise customer accounts.
• Develop strategies to increase market penetration into UK Commercial customer targets across various verticals.
• Influence and support channel 'route-to-market' by collaborating with partner technologists.
• Identify new sales opportunities, develop technical solutions, and close sales campaigns.
• Maintain technical excellence, optimize solutions for revenue, and lead technical aspects of proposals.
• Demonstrate the value of emerging technologies while strengthening existing business avenues.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills for presenting to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of modern technologies including data storage, virtualisation, cloud, cloud-native, FinOps, DevOps, AI, and data protection.
• Ability to build strong financial and commercial arguments for TCO and procurement.
• Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
• Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferably 10 years of experience in field pre-sales, technical consulting, or professional services.
• Expertise in data storage and data management solutions, including backup, recovery, disaster recovery, cloud storage, and data analytics.
• Prior industry experience with global data-storage vendors or service providers.
• Ability to travel to customer & partner sites for face-to-face engagement(s) around London, UK and infrequent international travel.
