Location: Remote - Must be based in the United States

Salary: $190,000–$225,000

What you will do

  • Lead and grow a team of software engineers, owning performance management and day-to-day people leadership.
  • Build a high-trust team culture and run a strong operating cadence for career development.
  • Own prioritization and execution for your team, partnering with Product, Implementation, and/or Success.
  • Drive predictable delivery by identifying risks, aligning stakeholders, and adjusting scope.
  • Coach technical decision-making through code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural trade-offs.
  • Improve engineering processes and quality systems, including planning and incident follow-up.
  • Partner with leadership and recruiting on hiring and onboarding new engineers.

Requirements

  • Experience managing a team of software engineers, including running performance reviews and growth conversations.
  • Prior experience as a tech lead or Engineering Manager accountable for delivery and execution against a roadmap.
  • Strong technical foundation as a software engineer, with ability to review PRs and engage meaningfully in architectural discussions.
  • Comfort partnering cross-functionally (especially with Product and customer-facing teams) to deliver outcomes in ambiguous environments.
  • Must be based in the US and have US work authorization.
  • English: B2+ required.

  • Experience at a 50–100 person Series B+ startup.
