Salary: $245K – $290K + Equity

What you will do

• Lead a full-stack team responsible for the Seller Provided Support (SPS) initiative to resolve post-purchase issues.
• Own business outcomes, technical strategy, and execution to ensure a cohesive buyer and seller UX experience.
• Design scalable systems that integrate messaging, payments, and logistics.
• Partner with Product, Design, and platform teams to build intelligent support tooling.
• Manage and grow an engineering team of 6–12 engineers, focusing on speed and quality.
• Drive measurable reductions in refund rates and increase CSAT through wider SPS adoption.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product or platform engineering.
• 3+ years of experience managing teams of 6–12 engineers.
• Proven track record of building high-impact end-to-end product experiences and scaling backend systems.
• Ability to act as a technical lead for system design and make pragmatic architectural trade-offs.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and unblock teams.
• Must be based in the USA within commuting distance of specified hubs.

Nice to have

• Experience with messaging systems or specialized support platforms.
• Familiarity with Python, Elixir, and Postgres.
