Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the engineering team in building a new agent-native app-building product from the ground up.
• Own the technical architecture and end-to-end delivery of the next core product experience.
• Hire, mentor, and grow a senior engineering team capable of high autonomy.
• Establish engineering standards for testing, observability, and AI-driven development practices.
• Partner with Infrastructure teams to evolve the API surface and runtime for agent support.
• Collaborate deeply with product and design as a product-threaded team to define outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience building and scaling large SaaS products and complex distributed systems.
• Expertise in React, Node.js, MongoDB, and Postgres within multi-cloud environments.
• Proven people management experience with a track record of hiring and mentoring engineers.
• Hands-on experience architecting systems with agentic and generative AI, including tool use and sandboxed execution.
• Must be based in or able to work from Somerville, MA (Hybrid).
