Location: Remote (USA) or onsite/hybrid from hirify.global’s NYC office in Union Square.

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship cutting-edge products and features without compromising on quality.
• Drive continuous improvements in engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale the codebase and team productivity.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and analytics to solve challenging and impactful problems.
• Contribute to the estimations, planning, and execution of projects, features, and integrations.
• Maintain and elevate the existing codebase by writing clean, fully-tested, high-performance code.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years as a Software Engineer with user-facing product experience.
• 3+ years experience with React, Typescript, Node.js, React Native, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and Amplitude, or confidence in cross-training and up-skilling.
• Ability to independently take a project from idea through implementation and ship fast.
• Desire to be deeply involved in product and design, building a product end-to-end.
• Ability to think from first principles, challenge assumptions, and value the right answer.

• Startup or Scale Up experience.
• Familiarity with interviewing to help grow the Engineering team.
