What you will do

• Design, code, repair, enhance, integrate, upgrade, convert, provide level-3 support, and administer application software and middleware.
• Work within guidelines and standards set by management regarding the development life cycle, version control, source code control, documentation, unit testing, code verification, continuous integration, continuous deployment, automation, and compliance policies.
• Collaborate with the development team, QA, Security, collaborative groups/clients and other cross-functional teams to define, provide for, and test deliverables.
• Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a professional environment, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Technical experience with HL7, integration technologies and SQL REQUIRED
• MVC framework experience; MS SQL preferred
• Object Oriented Programming
• UI Development
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of clinical data contained within HL7 messages, including General Laboratory Results, Microbiology Results, Pharmacy Order, Pharmacy Results, Vitals, and ADT.
