What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems aligned with business needs.
• Lead technical design for complex stories, features, and epics, including authoring technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical dependencies and deliver high-quality products.
• Identify root causes of challenges and recommend impactful, broad-reaching architectural solutions.
• Establish best practices for design, development, and testing while mentoring team members.
• Maintain a deep understanding of software subsystems, interfaces, and data integrations.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development.
• BS Degree in Computer Science.
• 7 years of experience designing and implementing solutions using Java and J2EE.
• Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, SES, and Lambda.
• Expertise in MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and MySQL.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rules Engines and/or Event-driven architecture.
• Exposure to advanced design best practices focusing on performance, scalability, and resiliency.
