Salary: $207,000 - $233,000

What you will do
- Design and build scalable backend services that power member-provider matching, ranking, and precision care routing.
- Operationalize machine learning and decisioning logic into reliable production services.
- Lead the delivery of complex technical projects from initial conception through to deployment.
- Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering growth and upholding high engineering standards.
- Drive the integration of observability, performance monitoring, and system resiliency features.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support overall system reliability and resolve production issues.
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend systems.
- Expertise in at least one of the following: Ruby on Rails, Java, C#, or Python.
- Proven experience architecting complex systems or microservices.
- Fluency in SQL and experience with modern data tooling such as DBT and Snowflake.
- Experience with containerization and cloud infrastructure tools like Docker and AWS.
- Must be based in or able to relocate independently to the San Francisco metro area.
Nice to have
- Experience with ML-powered product systems, recommendation/ranking systems, or experimentation-driven platforms.
