Salary: $153,000 – $207,000 USD

What you will do

• Design and implement high-performance data processing and serving patterns using Spark, Python, Rust, and SQL.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives to balance scalability, reliability, performance, and cost.
• Build and maintain robust data quality, validation, observability, lineage, and monitoring frameworks.
• Architect scalable data products that power APIs, analytics, and customer-facing applications.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, technical coaching, and architectural guidance.
• Leverage AI-Augmented Engineering tools to improve productivity in coding and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience designing data workflows and feature pipelines specifically supporting AI/ML training and inference.
• Proven experience building large-scale, production-grade data products and analytical systems.
• Strong expertise in SQL and distributed processing frameworks such as Spark.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Rust for high-scale compute systems.
• Ability to design scalable data models and distributed system architectures.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with healthcare data (claims, clinical, RWE) and coding systems like ICD-10 or CPT.
• Experience operating data products designed for external consumption via APIs.
• Experience applying AI or agentic workflows to engineering and data quality processes.
• Experience operating in high-growth or ambiguous environments.
