Location: Tokyo, Japan. Flexibility to travel to client/industry events as required.

What you will do

  • Qualify inbound leads and proactively engage outbound prospects to generate interest and build relationships.
  • Build, nurture, and oversee a high-quality lead database for seamless sales team handoff.
  • Develop and maintain extensive understanding of companies, markets, and industry trends.
  • Craft persuasive outreach messages and strategies to engage and convert prospects.
  • Collaborate with sales directors, senior leaders, and marketing teams for pipeline generation.
  • Continuously enhance lead targeting strategies and seek new opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in a sales function.
  • Demonstrates a proactive, go-getter, hunter mentality with self-management skills.
  • Strong skills in cold calling, pre-call planning, and time management.
  • Skilled in crafting concise, impactful emails and effective communication across various channels.
  • Native Japanese and Fluency in English.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving startup environment.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in ad-tech or advertising industry or outreach sales.
  • Experience with sales training and familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
