What you will do

• Design and develop scalable healthcare AI applications using Java and React.
• Architect robust, performant, and maintainable system architectures with a focus on cloud application best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into effective solutions.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure high application availability and efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of cutting-edge features leveraging the power of AI and machine learning.
• Participate in code reviews, write thorough tests, and create documentation to ensure code quality and maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on full-stack development, including backend APIs, frontend UI, system integrations, and user authentication.
• Deep expertise in Java programming, including experience designing and implementing highly optimized and scalable architectures.
• Proven experience building enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Spring Boot, React, UX design frameworks, and relational and document databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with developing and deploying cloud-based applications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and a solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• This role requires working 5 days a week in our Mountain View, CA office.

Nice to have

• Experience in the healthcare domain, including HL7 and FHIR.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and frameworks.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, containers (e.g., Docker), and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
