What you will do

• Own end-to-end epic-level efforts from technical design and milestone decomposition to production deployment.
• Develop and maintain full-stack services using Java/Groovy, React/TypeScript, and MongoDB.
• Build and operate event-driven messaging pipelines using Kafka.
• Identify and resolve systemic technical risks, including performance bottlenecks and data consistency issues.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to ship high-quality software in a multi-tenant environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Java or Groovy.
• Proficiency in building modern web applications with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL data stores, specifically MongoDB.
• Experience with APIs and event-driven workflows (Kafka or similar).
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7.
• Experience with multi-tenant systems handling client-specific configurations at scale.
• Knowledge of AWS and distributed systems at scale.
• Experience with test frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, or Jest.
