TL;DR

Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States)
Salary: $128,000 – $145,000

What you will do
- Own end-to-end epic-level efforts from technical design and milestone decomposition to production deployment.
- Develop and maintain full-stack services using Java/Groovy, React/TypeScript, and MongoDB.
- Build and operate event-driven messaging pipelines using Kafka.
- Identify and resolve systemic technical risks, including performance bottlenecks and data consistency issues.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to ship high-quality software in a multi-tenant environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend development experience with Java or Groovy.
- Proficiency in building modern web applications with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL data stores, specifically MongoDB.
- Experience with APIs and event-driven workflows (Kafka or similar).
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7.
- Experience with multi-tenant systems handling client-specific configurations at scale.
- Knowledge of AWS and distributed systems at scale.
- Experience with test frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, or Jest.
