TL;DR

Broker Sales, Account Executive: Consulting with small business owners on payroll, HR, and employee benefits requirements with an accent on simplifying complex information and driving revenue through sales pipeline management. Location: Remote (US) or Hybrid (Denver, San Francisco, New York City, Scottsdale). Employees in office locations are expected to work 2-3 days per week from the office.

Salary: $82,000–$97,000 OTE (On-Target Earnings) in Denver, Atlanta, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Chicago and most remote locations, structured with 60% base pay and 40% commission pay with an uncapped commission structure.

What you will do

  • Consult directly with small business owners to analyze their payroll, HR, and employee benefit requirements.
  • Understand prospect’s employee benefit administration goals and identify the best integration options.
  • Transform the complicated language of payroll and health insurance into clear, simple concepts for customers.
  • Drive revenue by navigating the customer buying process, engaging stakeholders, and closing deals.
  • Manage and prospect into a book of existing and onboarding hirify.global customers.
  • Construct, forecast, and manage your sales pipeline to meet company goals.

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of quota carrying sales experience in SaaS, health and life insurance, or HRIS industries.
  • Ability to pass the Life & Health Licensing final exam within 45 days of starting the role.
  • Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding quota or targets.
  • Experience working with clients in a consultative manner and a proven record of closing accounts.
  • Ability to manage large opportunity pipelines while consistently prospecting into new accounts.
  • Technical proficiency with web-based technologies such as Salesforce, Outreach, CXOne, Google Workspace, and proactive leveraging of AI tools like Glean and ChatGPT.
