TL;DR

Sales Development Representative: Generating new sales opportunities and achieving revenue goals by developing sales strategies and prospecting techniques. Focus on cultivating customer/prospect relationships and working collaboratively with account executives to strengthen the pipeline.

Location: Hybrid (Boston office 3 days a week)

Salary: $55,000 base salary + $21,000 variable commission (yearly)

What you will do

  • Focus on generating new, upsell, and cross-sell revenue from business accounts.
  • Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
  • Identify and develop qualified sales opportunities using various channels.
  • Execute outbound prospecting techniques and qualify leads at a consistent pace.
  • Log activity consistently and reliably in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Work collaboratively with the Account Executive team to develop and strengthen the pipeline.

Requirements

  • Ability to take direction, be coached, and mentored.
  • Desire to pursue sales as a career and aptitude to learn and apply sales techniques.
  • Demonstrated success interacting with people by phone, leading, persuading, and overcoming obstacles associated with prospecting.
  • Display presence and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work from the Boston office in the Back Bay area 3 days a week.
