TL;DR

Business Development Representative (SaaS Sales): Executing high-volume outbound prospecting and qualifying leads for a sales team with an accent on tailored messaging and pipeline management. Focus on achieving quota targets, strategic account penetration, and providing feedback to refine sales strategy.

Location: Remote. Candidate must be located in a Canadian province or US state where hirify.global is registered. Visa sponsorship may not be available in certain remote locations.

Salary: CA$70,000–CA$90,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting to generate qualified sales opportunities using various channels.
  • Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly quota targets for meetings booked and opportunities created.
  • Research target accounts to identify needs and tailor outreach messaging to ideal customer profiles.
  • Qualify prospects through thoughtful discovery and seamlessly hand off qualified opportunities to Account Executives.
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop account penetration strategies.
  • Utilize sales enablement tools like Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong for pipeline management and tracking.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in an outbound sales or business development role, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to consistently hit or exceed activity and opportunity generation targets.
  • Comfort with high-volume outreach, including daily cold calls and managing multiple prospecting cadences.
  • Strong research skills to identify key decision-makers and strategic opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with prospects.
  • Familiarity with sales productivity tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.

Hiring process

  • Round 1: 30-minute Google Meet interview with the Manager, Sales Operations.
  • Round 2: Take-home assignment followed by a 60-minute Google Meet presentation.
  • Round 3: Four (4) 45-minute Google Meet interviews with various team members.
