Location: This is a hybrid role. Employees in Denver, San Francisco, New York City, or Scottsdale are expected to work from the office 2-3 days per week. Remote work is approved from other US locations, requiring a secure and consistent internet connection. Must be based in the US.

Salary: Our cash compensation target for this role is $163,000–$204,000 USD (Denver & most remote US locations), and $197,000–$247,000 USD (San Francisco & New York).

What you will do

• Build and foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture within your team.

• Collaborate with product management and design teams to define problem spaces and lead technical projects from planning to delivery.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, and other internal/external teams.
• Help build and manage team processes to enable optimal team performance.
• Provide and receive mentorship and peer support.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant hands-on programming experience.
• 4+ years of engineering management experience.
• Experience managing a Payments-related team.
• Comfortable guiding the team strategically and contributing hands-on (including code reviews and coding).
• Ability to navigate complex and ambiguous problem spaces.
• Experience in negotiating cross-functional projects and driving business growth.
• Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
