What you will do

• Lead and grow multiple engineering teams, managing an organization of around 15-25 people.
• Manage 2-3 Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Senior Engineers, supporting their career development.
• Be accountable for the technical and delivery outcomes for your area.
• Foster a high bar for engineering excellence within your teams.
• Partner with senior engineers to drive technical initiatives.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to company-wide managerial and technical practices.

Requirements

• Strong technical and delivery background, with prior experience as a software engineer.
• Experience directly managing at least 2-3 Engineering Managers.
• Experience leading organizations of around ~20 engineers.
• Adept at delivery and execution, engineering excellence, and people leadership.
• Must be based in the New York area to be close to the team's existing timezone.

Hiring process

• Initial Call (1 hour) focusing on people leadership, product delivery, and technical leadership.
• Loop Stage (3 hours 30 mins) including Team and Org Management, System Design, and Behavioral interviews.
• A 30-minute reverse interview with an Engineering Leader.
