What you will do

• Maintain and upgrade in-house servers, IT infrastructure, and networking for optimal uptime and performance.
• Manage staff onboarding and offboarding, including account management and access rights for high-security projects.
• Implement and enforce best-in-class security protocols, monitoring for breaches and ensuring compliance with entertainment industry standards.
• Oversee daily office IT operations, providing rapid response to technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Build secure, efficient workflows for both in-office and remote teams to support company scaling and reliability.
• Evaluate, recommend, and procure new hardware, servers, and software licenses, managing vendor contracts.

Requirements

• 8+ years in IT management roles supporting creative studios, production companies, or post houses.
• Strong knowledge of server management, Mac Studio + PC setups, rack management, network administration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Okta, Microsoft security agreements, and data/asset protection for high-security projects.
• Familiarity with MPAA/TPN, SOC2, or ISO 27001 standards, including handling audits and client security flags.
• Experience with backup, archival, and disaster recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, AWS Glacier, Backblaze).
• Skilled in both MacOS and Windows environments, with knowledge of VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid storage workflows (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified Security Engineer.
• Experience with API integrations or lightweight automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n).
• General awareness of AI-enabled creative workflows and secure adoption of new tech.
