TL;DR

Outside Sales Representative (Software Sales): Responsible for prospecting and presenting Genius Point of Sale solutions to small and mid-sized merchants and restaurateurs to close deals. Focus on demonstrating cloud-based POS solutions, upselling clients, and building referral partnerships within a fast sales cycle.

Location: Hybrid in Los Angeles, California, USA. Must live in the area relative to the job posting location and be in the field a minimum of 75% of the time.

Salary: Base Salary: $40,000. Annual On-Target Earnings (OTE): 1st yr $100,000+; 2nd yr $150,000+.

What you will do

  • Prospect and run Genius Point of Sale presentations to small and mid-sized merchants and businesses.
  • Close sales of business solutions with merchants and restaurateurs.
  • Upsell current clients on other hirify.global products and services.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager.
  • Maintain existing/prospective client records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Atlas).
  • Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first-time appointments, to secure quota.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must live in the Los Angeles, California area.
  • Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 75% of the time.
  • Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team, with a high sense of urgency and innate sales talent.
  • Enjoys cold-calling and speaking with people face to face.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • At least two years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of the Restaurant and/or Retail industry.

Hiring process

  • During the training period, a District Manager will accompany new hires on initial appointments.
  • Training focuses on the short-cycle sales process using CRM platforms like Atlas and Salesforce.
